TOPIC: ECW Resculpt |
Standard User Posts: 51 Estarriol 17th Aug 2016 12:19:39 I am sure I heard a rumour this was happening but I cannot find where or if it is true.
Main reason for asking is that there are two (yes 2!) sets of rules for the period coming I want to play, as it is a period I have had a fondness for for a while. Rulesets are the Dan Mersey adaption of Lion Rampant and the ECW version of To the Strongest, both sets I like and a small and a large game set. |
Hi, Peter announced it at the beginning of the year and re-iterated recently at the Joy of 6 show. |

Hmmmm not considered TYW as well, might have to expand, it was just the timing of the 3 things, smaller rules to get you going, resculpts to drool over and big battle to finish with was perfect. |

Standard User Posts: 6 SargKael 26th Aug 2016 12:03:15 Ha glad I found this thread before placing an order. Has there been an estimate on when the rescuplts will be released? I wanted to order the ECW box set but if the range is getting a resculpt I guess I'll have to wait. |
Whilst waiting, why not knock up a couple of WSS armies to keep your hand in. A little goes a long way |
I have put my ECW army-building on hold for the same reason. I have two armies for small and mid-sized battles, but Marston Moor, the Newbury battles, Naseby, Wocester etc. are all waiting for the new sculpts. |
Administrator Posts: 892 peter 30th Aug 2016 09:45:31 The first batch of masters is due in very shortly, and I hope to have the first releases out in November. This is a going to be a big range... I have plans. I am dangerous when I have plans... |
I could see this becoming a 30 Years War army for me. A little goes a long way |
