TOPIC: 1914 French Cavalry |
Standard User Posts: 183 pushing.tin 8th Jan 2016 09:02:39 I have posted these already to the 'gallery' section but thought it might be useful to give more detail about what I used as alternatives for my 1914 French Cavalry. These are mostly from the Franco-Prussian War range Chasseur Machine gun wagon made from FPF21 towing a FPF20 FPF14 Cuirassiers with MG limbers made up as with the Chasseurs ones. Dismounted Cuirassiers made from FPB02 Bavarian Infantry in skirmish order and GWF06 dismounted horse strips from the Great War range, the 'horseholder' is a standard FPF14 Cuirassier.

The use of the Bavarians for dismounted French cavalry is inspirational, as it will also work for dragoons. A little goes a long way |
