Hi,

I have tried to do some Tatars for 17th/18th cent. ottoman armies:

The two guys in mail armour are polish Pancernis, the rest are from  the Achaemenid Persian range. I have done a little putty on the helmets to make them look more like mongolian fur-caps. Maybe some other Achaemenids will fit too, like the mounted archers.

Cheers, Ralf

Nice idea. By the 18th century many Tatars would have pistols and carbines. Perhaps you could cut and bend the spears to make these.

Looking good.   There is huge scope for plundering codes from across ranges and periods to make proxies and stand-ins and your base is a perfect example of how this should be done.

I have plans.   I am dangerous when I have plans...
