TOPIC: 18th century sailors |
Standard User Posts: 2 AbramF 28th Jul 2016 05:57:08 Hi all, I'm currently making a model of HMS Victory 1765 by Airfix, scale 1/170. I figured 6mm figures by Baccus would be great as crew. I would need sailors, officers, mariners, and of course a regiment or two of line infantry, kind of like the Hornblower movies. Any suggestions what codes could be useful? |
Standard User Posts: 9 matt 3rd Sep 2016 05:42:45 Infantry/Marines you can take from the AWI/7YW ranges. Crew. I don't know possibly AWI jäger with the rifles clipped off ? Maybe some French/Indian wars French woodsmen. Again all armed with guns.

Maybe some of the engineers in the Napoleonic ranges would serve for sailors and officers. Perhaps the Napoleonic Spanish gueriallas might be of use too. |
