One key thing is the 7YW ones wore the "beret" with a cockade. The two regts that served in Germany were 87th and 88th, though they were disbanded not long after the war. They were usually "brigaded" with the two battalions of combined grenadier companies of the foot battalions in the force. The illustration on the Kronosaf page matches pretty well with other stuff I've seen, so you could compare the AWI figures with that.

Standard User Posts: 404 Glenn Pearce 30th Sep 2016 01:59:47 Hello Le Comte de Froufrou! Yes, according to Knotel they had a 1742 uniform, a 1760 uniform and an 1813 uniform. There are minor changes between the 1742 and 1760 uniform that won't really matter on a 6mm figure. I believe the Baccus figure in the AWI is intended to be the 1760 uniform so your right on the money for the 7YW. Best regards, Glenn |

This wasn't a project I intended to start (I have far too many to finish in the leadpile) but I had a surplus of French figures left over from my AWI armies, and....well, you know..... |
