Or do I just need to wear magnification lenses to get that level of facial detail and buttons ! People have commented that my painting is good but I would not dare post picvtures after seeing these Excellent ! Non Pasaran! Non Pasaran !

Glorious work. I will take on board the dice box idea for use with my own AoF armies. Really like the basing style. I have been loathe to use large vegetation clumps with the small minis, but it really does give a good impression of the more wild scenery of the 1860s American landscape. A little goes a long way |

Re Berdan's: I like the way three of the figures are wearing various articles of standard uniform. A little goes a long way |
Thanks for comments dourpurritan and Glenn. The 5mm Dice box is ok for gaming but not the best if you have big fingers like me ;-) I tried 7mm but it does not look good if the dice is bigger than the figure.......for me . I know your problem with the large vegetation clumps .... flowers hight like a man !? ......but you have to look at the whole picture.......and from the gaming distance it looks quite well. Re Berdan´s ...you have a good eye ;-) It makes me happy when people notice the small details. @ Glenn ....dark blue , blue , light blue , light light blue ......grey , dark , light ,..........15 different blues and grays ....its hard i know ..... if you will spend more hours in painting green .....5th Georgia Infantry Regiment , Alexandria Rifles 6th Battalion Virginia Volunteers or Woodis Rifles 6th Virginia Regiment ;-)
