Standard User Posts: 182 rsjahn 25th Oct 2017 05:12:39 I have done some late hoplites for the macedon/greek-persian-war https://www.baccus6mm.com/forum/PaintingandModelling/Gallery/496-1-anancientpileoflead/ The symbols on the Hoplon-shields are done with baccus transfers - to paint them myself would have driven me crazy... To post pics: load them to a free server (I use www.abload.de, but that is a site in german), there you usually get various links to your pictures. Use something like 'direct link', and that you can put in here (there is a small picture-symbol on top of the edit field). |
Wow! some amazing pictures there. I am awaiting a Roman Polybian army to prepare for my TtS Hellenistic project. A little goes a long way |

Standard User Posts: 26 corfe 17th Nov 2017 02:22:28 Those figures are indeed amazing - inspirational stuff! As soon as I figure out how to post a picture, I'll put up a few of my own. I've had three battles so far between Greeks and Early Achaemenid Persians, and while there was quite a rugged battle in two of the three encounters, the end result was always the same - a Persian Rout. I am thinking of modifying the rules a little to give elite troops such as the Immortals (and the Spartan homoioi (Am I right with that - it's been a while?) - a +1 advantage in CC.) Be interesting if any of you guys thought of doing the same... |
