Hey all,

Tried Galleys, Guns and Glory today at my wargaming club. It's an amazing ruleset that is similar to DBA in that it is very quick to learn and play, but offers enough tactical/historical depth to satisfy the historical wargamer.

I wanted to bring it up on this forum because the crew counters can be substituted for 6mm scale miniatures. This is even encouraged in the rules. Cut right, the bases of 6mm individual miniatures fit perfectly in the laser-cut wooden ships with which the game is played.

Period is from 1500-1600, so with some converting, you can use Baccus miniatures. Rules are here - http://www.skullncrown.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=73_83. Ships are here - http://www.skullncrown.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=73_74.

This game is visually stunning and a real blast to play.
