Order update and some news on the 6mm book...

Thanks to all who popped round and kept us so busy at the Hammerhead show last weekend.  A wonderful event and one that gets busier each year.  The next show for us is Salute, but more of that later.  This week’s magic order number stands at #28145.

An update from Newark

A slightly different news update this week, as I am typing this live from the Hammerhead show at Newark.   This is a brilliant event, with every game at the show, (and there are LOTS of games!), being one that you can join in and play.   Some lovely table setups on display and a massive attendance.   Congrats to all concerned, especially Paul and Sally from Kallistra who have worked so hard to make the show the success that it is today.

This week's magic order number is #28039.   As ever, there are a few before this number that missed the cut and will go out next week, and a lucky few of you will have had your order ahead of time.

New Matched Pair Armies now released

Another week, another order number, which this time around stands at #27989.    As ever, don’t panic if your order is previous to this, as it will be sorted out next week, and some of you whose orders come after this may get a welcome surprise.

After getting a lot of feedback from our customers over the past few months, one thing that has stood out is the popularity of our Matched Pairs.  To those of you unfamiliar with this, (how?), it is simply where we offer a number of army packs for historically paired opponents at a better price than purchasing them singly. 

Joy of Six 2024 - Traders and Games

Better slightly late than never

Yes, it’s a couple of days late, but here is this week’s magic number, currently standing at order #27799.   As you can imagine, Lindy’s Super Sale has left us with a bit of a backlog of orders to clear through – if you though that it might be a good idea to take advantage of it, so did LOTS of others!   However, the casting team are chewing through this at a very high speed and we are making excellent progress.

It’s back to normality at Baccus HQ as Lindy has vacated the Swivel Chair of Power and I have returned to the fray.   In an effort to restore normality, I will start with this week’s order number which stands at #27642.

The feeding frenzy which was Lindy’s Baccus Super Sale has run its course, but it has left us with a big clutch of orders to work through, so please bear with us as we work through them all.

Old Misery Guts is back running things next week, but I thought that I could leave you all with something  to cheer you and me up and give him indigestion.   Lots of you have been taking advantage of the Baccus Super Sale, but I have had a lot of emails complaining about the timing as payday for lots of folks is the end of the month.

This is going to be short and sweet this week,  as I am going to be in the hot seat next week processing orders. Peter will still be here but he has a book to write and will be shut away in the office. That means… I am in charge!

So, I am going to say one word to you. One word that will have Peter shaking in his boots. One word that is NOT in Peter’s vocabulary. One word that has not been written in Baccus history.

The first Magic Number of 2024

Hello dear readers, and welcome to the first magic number of 2024, which currently stands at #27335.   And as it’s the first of the year, I will add the rider that some numbers prior to this won’t be processed until next week, and there may be a couple of lucky customers with later orders than this who will get their packages early.

Just prior to Christmas, I had to break the unfortunate news that an entire consignment of overseas orders had been lost by the carriers.  They’ve informed me that they  think that the 15kg box of 25 individual orders got lost behind the sofa, or the dog ate it, or there was a letter ‘R’ in the month, or something reasonable like that.   We are now well into the process of recasting and replacing the affected orders and will be sending them out over the next couple of week.  If you are affected by this please bear with us  - you will get your order and we are working hard to sort things out.
