TOPIC: Great War FPW Compatibility |
Standard User Posts: 3 tgmckinney 29th Jan 2015 02:14:04 I am shopping for Franco-Prussian figures. I have Great War French (firing and advancing) and am wondering if the sizes between the lines are compatible? I'd like to have both formed and advancing figures and thought I'd use Great War figures added to the Franco-Prussian line Any thoughts or issues anyone can see with that? Thanks Tom |
Just compared my Great War British infantry to my FPW Bavarian infantry. Can't see any real difference there, other than the height of the Bavarian crested helmet, but to the shoulder they are exactly the same. I am now thinking of using 1866 Austrians as early Great War Belgian infantry. A little goes a long way |

The French Chasseur style is basically the same as the Belgian. The German uhlans look enough like Belgian lancers and Irregular do Guides or possibly use FPW French Chasseurs a Cheval. Having to convert a Minerva as only Peter Pig seems to do one in the smaller scales, and that's 15mm. A little goes a long way |
