Campaign Maps

Although work is still at an early stage on the Polemos campaign system, Sven Lugar, the creator of these maps has kindly suggested that I make them available. They are all still very much 'Work in Progress', but are all usable for the enterprising amongst you.

If you have any feedback, please email Sven.

The first map is designed for the Great Northern War.

The following are more abstract maps each covering a different type of terrain. They may be rotated as needs be, as there is no 'North', and the enterprising amongst you may link two or or more of them together. Each map measures forty miles across.. The outer hex is fifty miles, the inner red line represents the actual 40 mile boundry, and each small hex is two miles.

An Open 'Standard' terrain map, mainly clear with bits of everything to campaign over.

A more heavily forested area. Ugly for cavalry. Good defensively, but open enough for the clever types.
Another more open terrain with a Vauban fort in the center.

A Coastal area map. Just right for an amphibious landing!

A map inspired by Livonian terrain with lots of marsh, bog, forests and rivers.

A semi-mountainous area. Hilly with lots of roads & villages.

A Lowlands area. The grey lines are raised road-way/dikes with the Polders in between. Forested area with a lake at the centre

Fenlands and Wetlands.
