TOPIC: What artillery |
Standard User Posts: 428 njt236 14th Feb 2024 03:54:47 Urgently need to know what artillery you get in the GNW Russian Army Pack as there are no artillery packs listed individually for the Russians. Also there's no artillery for the Poles. Very strange as they had 1.5, 3, 5 and 6pdrs Through the travail of the ages Midst the pomp and toil of war Have I fought and strove and perished Countless times upon this star. G S Patton |

Standard User Posts: 428 njt236 25th Feb 2024 04:46:22 Thanks Rittmeister. I was thinking of mix and match. A few years ago Peter did mix and match artillery packs. You could select the artillery pieces you wanted and then select which artillery crews you wanted. eg WWI French artillery with Russian crew for the Bulgarians in the 1912/13 Balkan wars. That's what I'm doing at the moment for the Balkan wars. Mid 17thC Polish artillery crew were dressed very similar to the infantry (GNP06) so best match would be the Cossack artillery. Just purchased a small Zaporozhian Cossack army to make a start on the 1648 Khmelnytsky Cossack Uprising in Ukraine against the Poles. So probably will use Cossack artillery as proxies for the Poles Through the travail of the ages Midst the pomp and toil of war Have I fought and strove and perished Countless times upon this star.
