It's That Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

As I type this, it's just a few hours to go before a very hectic couple of days as the Joy of Six weekend kicks in. The final floor layout is going to be a little different to the one previously posted as since that was completed we have had three games and one trader drop out and an extra game brought in. All credit must go to Lindy for vary calmly and efficiently handling all this and sorting out the new floor plan.
Baccus have a number of new releases coming out at the show, but for those of you who can’t make it to Sunny Sheffield they are all available for online purchase through our website.
It’s all 20th century stuff this time, but don’t worry there is plenty of earlier stuff in the pipeline. Starting off chronologically, the Great War German army finally gets its infamous stormtroopers. This is a subject that a lot of you have asked for, so I know it will be a very popular release.

You can find out more at https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/GreatWar/Germans/
Moving on the next 20th fracas we arrive in the middle of the Second World War, and very appropriately given the UK weather at the moment, we land fairly and squarely in the baking hot and unforgiving terrain of North Africa with the first releases of Italian infantry and support weapons.

All these and more in the brand new section for Italians at https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/WW2Italian/ItalianInfantryandsupportweapons/
More support, artiilery and eventually vehicles are to follow...
And we haven’t finished with this period yet, switching to Crimea (very topical, I know) as the Soviet Naval Infantry make their appearance. Just basic infantry at the moment but we will be adding some support weapons down the line.

You can find these here https://baccus6mm.com/catalogue/WW2Russia/RussianInfantryandsupportweapons/
Where would some 1939-45 releases be without some AFV releases – we know you like your heavy metal. We start by witnessing yet more of the German habit of bolting anything that will fire a round to anything that might actually carry it around in the form of a siG infantry gun mounted on a PzIII chassis and a similar mating but with this time mated with berge Hetzer.

You can find more details here: https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/WW2German/GermanPAKFlakandArtillery/
For those of you seeking a bit more heft to your table top we have some veteran Panthers. We are all used to seeing these with immaculate schurzen side armour bolted on. In practice these suffered quite a bit of attrition as the vehicles wended their way across the countryside, so, after any length of service they would take in a tattier appearance. These models come with a random range of missing bits and pieces and can really give a nice veteran air to your formations.

Going heavier still we have the mighty JgPzVI Ferdinand.

A mighty beast indeed and a vehicle to stir strong reactions wherever two WW2 wargamers gather over a beverage and discuss its real value.
You can find the Panthers and Ferdinand here: https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/WW2German/GermanPanzersandJagdPanzers/
Finally we have an addition to the British army in the form of a Churchill NA75.

It’s an interesting animal, being a field modification upgrading the standard 2pdr armament by swapping it for 75mms from scrapped Sherman M4s. You can find them here; https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/WW2British/BritishAFVs/
All these an much, much more will be available from the Baccus stand for those of you lucky enough to be in Sheffield on Sunday. For those of you unfortunates who won't be there, there are no excuses, so start planning for JOS27!
