Just watched Odyssey. The question is: what could be used as proxys for Myceneian and Trojan armies? Are plans to further expand the Bronze Age range, even in to the "myth" sphere?

I suppose it depends upon what sources you are using to base your Trojan, Myceneian armies on. Is it Hollywood inspired, based on the ancient Greek tales, or archaeological evidence? All three are equally valid (from a wargamer's perspective) but might affect what figures you use. Rapier Miniatures do produce a small Trojan range at 6mm along with some Greek Myths creatures. Might be worth having a look at them to get some ideas.

Rapiers figures are fantastic for early and mid mycenaean armies (until 1300 bc CA) but not so good for later ones... Historians believe that the Trojan war must have been fought in a period immediately after(1250-1200 bc), it is therefore probable that some elements were still present but the archaeological evidence tells of a fairly accentuated transformation of the panoply of Mycenaean warriors. Another thing regarding Rapier minis that must be of interest is that they don't send parcels to EU without spending hundreds (or even thousands, I don't remember at the moment) of pounds for shipping, so... Unfortunately it is difficult to buy something from them outside UK

If you are happy to go "slightly Hollywood" then some of the Assyrians assisted by Greek foot generals and peltasts could do the job (with a bit of a heavy paint job) for the key characters. Other ranges should be able to provide the mass peasantry.

I use Moorish infantry (AMO 01) for Late Mycenaean infantry. For "Trojans", worth considering that one of the real discrepancies between Homer and what "should be" present in a tale set in western Bronze Age Anatolia are the dear old Hittites. Are they there, under a different name? Is their absence proof that Homer had very limited knowledge of the geopolitics of the area, compared to having some idea at least about LBA Greece? So Hittite models are an option, as are Sea Peoples, again depending on whether you think any of them are hiding within Homer...
