...I thought all this Pony Wara stuff was sounding strangely familiar. Just realised 'Sands of the Sudan' are based on the Pony Wars ruleset. We play this every so often at the club as a big multi-player game. Its really good fun.

Now that it seems we can have the packs of minis quite soon... and no news of the set of rules release... any base size recommended?... number of minis per base?... a hint or two would be nice.

As regards unit sizes, someone on the Pony Wars Facebook page (who still has their copy of the original rules) referred to cavalry sections of 5 figures, 4 sections per troop, infantry sections of 10 figures, 2 sections per 'regiment' (sounds more like company), 1 gun and crew per section, scout section of 5 figures.
