Will there ever be vietnam war era minitures?

Eventually, but we have quite a lot on our plate just delivering a viable second world war range at the moment, and apart from the odd Great War release, that will be limit of our 20thC ranges for some time to come.

Irregular Miniatures do have a Vietnam range at 6mm and Heroics and Ros have some "modern" stuff in their 5mm ranges.

So you could investigate those in the interim till Peter gets round to this period (but hopefully that will be after he does the Western Roman Auxiliary archer).

I can't really see Vietnam working for me as a wargame. Too many pitfalls and booby traps

And going off on a very slight tangent, does anyone know any decent rules for asymmetric, airmobile combat in 6mm?
