TOPIC: nassau flags? |
Standard User Posts: 137 mangemani 1st Sep 2017 06:09:19 according to http://centjours.mont-saint-jean.com/detail_uniteBR.php?rubrique=U&unite=91&nation=4 the nassau troops didnt have any flags, except the three battalions in the first regiment. if you look at the baccus flagsheet, the front of it, it says "brinswick, netherlands, hannover", but on the back of it it says that also these nassau flags is included. now, as you can see on the site that i linked to there is an yellow flag with a lion on it, but none of the flags on the baccus flag sheets has such a flag, even less 3 of them. the aim is the waterloo campaign and maybe the 3 nassau battalions had different flags at that point, so my question is, which of all the flags on the baccus flag sheets is the correct 3? |
