We have a lot of players signed up now for the "Bloody Big Battles!" Bash Day in Sheffield on Saturday 27 June. There's probably still room for half a dozen more players, so if you sign up now we will do our best to fit you in and give you an entertaining game. Our local organiser, Tom, tells me Baccus have generously offered sponsorship in the form of some figures to give away to participants.

We have decided to offer the following participation games:

- Napoleonic: Waterloo
- Hungarian War of Independence 1848: Kapolna
- First Schleswig-Holstein War: Isted (small game to run twice)
- Crimean War: The Alma
- Risorgimento 1859: Montebello (very quick reserve game)
- American Civil War: Pea Ridge
- Franco-Prussian War: Coulmiers (small game to run twice)
