Can anyone please recommend suitable proxies for Wurttemberg Jager and Line Infantry for the FPW period. It appears that these troops unlike the Prussians and most of their allies did not wear the usual helmet but a kind of kept with a black peak. I was thinking something from the ACW range but there may be better alternatives.

Yes, I would second that. Wurtemberg artillery might be a little more problematic.

I agree that FPF12 and PFP13 wuld fit.

In 1864, Wurttemberg introduced new Uniforms with distinctive Caps, which repleaced earlier used small Shakos.

Dragoons used Prussian Styled "Pickelhauben" from 1868, after they used for 4 Years the same Caps like the Infantry.

My figures arrived today. They are indeed very good proxies. Thanks for the advice. I will post a picture when they are done.

i have added this link to an image of the finished Wurttemberg Infantry as despite my best attempts (and a couple of hours) i cannot get the image to display here. if anyone knows what i am doing wrong or what is wrong with this link please advise. This has got to be the worst forum ever for posting images. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lyf3jvbksz1qtcs/wurttemberg%20inf.jpg?dl=0

They certainly seem to pass muster.
