TOPIC: Plain indians and 7th us cavalry |
Standard User Posts: 28 mluiesp 29th Nov 2019 08:15:06 Hi, Recently, I've been thinking of dusting an old 7th cavalry vs indians wargame, but in a small scale as the game asks for too much minis. As for the US Cavalry, minis seem fairly easy just take from the American Civil War range. But for plain indians... I'm thinking on taking from the Ancients ranges of light cavalry and infantry Any suggestions or ideas? |

Bags (small) of characters?... the Wild West has plenty of them (real) but also the movies (say John Ford and Sam Peckinpah) so not complete but as a guide (read letter to Santa): Buffalo Bill Cody, Wild Bill Hickock, Wyatt Earp & Bros, Calamity Jane, Mountain Men (aka Jermiah Johnson),.. And on the fictional side the characters of John Ford meaning She Wore A Yellow Ribbon (of course you can not name the packs like that!... but we will understand any hint) Captain Brittles, Lieutenants Coghill and Pennell (hat and kepi), Sergeant Kincannon (Victot Mclaglen), Ben Johnson and Harry Carey Jr,, Joanne Dru (Miss Dandridge... I tried unsucsessfully to scratchbuid one!)... Henry Fonda as in Fort Apache kepi with havelock... those in RIO GRANDE are the same as said... but I would not mind some different versions of JOHN WAYNE!...... major Dundee, Mr Potts The one armed scout... and Apaches please... plenty of them... not only Plain (pun intended) Indians!... Please Hon. members of this Forum add to it!... CHARACTERS ARE NEEDED... BADLY!... and judging by the pic above smaller bases... GREAT "B" Troop BTW.... even if it says "E" on the guidon (so we asume it is another Troop).
