Hi, I'm looking for much more experienced people than myself to suggest model alternatives for Portuguese line infantry, Cacadores and Cavalry for Napoleonic era (1809 specifically).

Also any suggestions what to use for the Swiss regiments in French employ?

Okay, you have a few alternatives for Portuguese infantry in 1809:

The traditional option would be to use 1815 British Infantry in Belgic Shako and if you want, use the flank company for the grenadiers. But for 1809, you can also use Spanish Infantry in Conical Shako.  For Loyal Lusitanian Legion, use British Infantry in Stovepipe Shako.

The cavalry is a bit trickier.  You could use British light dragoons if you don't mind squinting, but the closest match is probably the Bavarian chevaulegers.

For Swiss, nothing matches closer than the French infantry and you just have to ignore the plume.
