Which Range would you advice for the Danish Army in 1864? I was thinkling about ACW Infantry in Frock Coats for the Infantry, but what for the Cavalry?

You will need to explore the Napoleonic ranges, or the 1859 Austrians - possibly the dragoons and the Austrian hussar in shako might work.

You mightb also consider the Piedmontese generals for Danish generals and the Piedmontese artillery for Danish artillery. The above mentioned Austrians and the Piedmontese can be found in the Risorgimento range.

I have been thinking about doing a 1864 campaing aswell. Im planning on buying a prussian six week army, and a french 1870 army. I  think many of the french units would be a good fit for danish.

Here's my Danish 1864 army.

The infantry are ACW as you suggest. In fact, these do multiple service. By painting up separate flags for  different armies that all looked essentially the same in dark blue tunics and kepis and light blue trousers, I've been able to use them for ACW, for 1864 Danes, for 1897 Greeks and even for late C19 Belgians or Dutch.

I think the hussars are simply ACW cavalry.

Can't remember what I used for the dragoons, sorry. But in 6mm I'm sure there are lots of suitable proxies in the Napoleonic or 1859 ranges.

As a bonus, here's some Isted 1850 action.
