Mahdist War, Battle of Kirbekan 1885 - making a start HuubStegeman 3rd Sep 2018 10:10:50 This looks great. I’ll have a look at all the other links you’ve included. This fall I’m starting a NWF project myself, using quite a few of the same figures. The rules you mention interest me, but I guess you are not at liberty to pass them on? |
Mahdist War, Battle of Kirbekan 1885 - making a start alejo dorca 4th Sep 2018 05:56:47 great job... I must confess I am a sucker as far BFS helmets are concerned... pith helmets?... count me in... the Camel Corps shortcut through the desert was and is one of my favourite adventures... a precedent or ancestor of the SAS in so many ways... Wolseley was a great general. |
Standard User Posts: 162 Stenbock 10th Sep 2018 11:07:03 Thanks for your positive comments to date, nice soldiers and with regards to the rules I am not at liberty to share them - sorry! Howver, I do have a part two with another regiment, see link here (with more pictures) http://rollaone.com/2018/09/10/mahdist-war-battle-of-kirbekan-1885-a-little-more-effort-part-2/ This time some red coated men (also note the note about the black watch in the text).

Mahdist War, Battle of Kirbekan 1885 - making a start dourpuritan 23rd Oct 2018 05:02:17 There are some superb shots on your blog. Very inspiring - a period I have always wanted to have a go at. First get the Hellenistics out of the way. A little goes a long way |
