TOPIC: Huge Isandlwana Wargame! |
Standard User Posts: 8 6mmACW 5th Nov 2019 02:09:59 Our club staged a huge Isandlwana game recently, with thousands of Baccus minis on a custom tabletop. The game was inspired by a trip one of our club members took to South Africa this summer, and he modeled the table at scale to match his notes and photos from the trip. The whole thing looked fantastic and the game itself was awesome to play. Really showcases the advantages of 6mm to do mass battles when you see how thin the British firing line looks compared to the Zulu regiments crashing down from three sides! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAh-Xz7oyqA |

Standard User Posts: 8 6mmACW 5th Nov 2019 08:32:20 Indeed he is! In addition to the battlefield tour video, I know he also did two interviews with local experts (one of whom had an ancestor who fought in the battle). All of us here at the club are quite excited to see what he comes up with! |
