Very nice painting and modelling inspiration. I am also thinking of investing in TBM's motte and bailey castle and related buildings for some post-1066 games.

Yes, I have been thinking the same thing, I've been looking for an excuse to get TBM's motte and bailey for some time, and now I have it!

I have also been reading a book on the Conquest and there is plenty going on post-Hastings that doesn't get generally talked about, as well as several post-1066 attempted Viking invasions...not to mention all the stuff going on in Normandy..

So lots of replay value outside of the three battles of 1066.
