It has been nearly two years since I was yet again diverted away from finishing this project so as 2021 looms I feel that it would be good to finish it off. I had been meaning to finish this in 2019, I even went to Salute 2019 with the intention of picking up the premier, thicker, bases from Warbases only to be told they had not bought any this year. I then picked up a load of 18mm Blue Moon French and Indian wars and my 6mm Pits project was benched. A couple of weeks ago I was going through a box of  partially painted, in this case undercoated,  minis and found my Mahdist Camalry and decided to finish the project, put an order in for some bases from the aforementioned Warbases and the project was rebooted.

I have painted 10 bases of Mahdist camals and 3 bases of Scouts on camels for my Anglo Egyptian forces

Nice

Through the travail of the ages Midst the pomp and toil of war Have I fought and strove and perished Countless times upon this star.
So as through a glass and darkly The age long strife I see Where I fought in many guises, Many names but always me.
So forever in the future Shall I battle as of yore, Dying to be born a fighter But to die again once more.

They look amazing Spiers! Do you remember which Skirmishers you used? And did you sculpt the sailor's collars or just paint them? Any other modifications?

Lovely, how does PITS work in 6mm? Also does it have a solo component?
