Hello everyone, I am thinking of creating a 16th century Scottish army (for Flodden through to Pinkie) , and I'm looking for suitable figures. I noticed that the WotR billmen in jacks would be a good fit for standard rank and file, but as the name suggests they are incorrectly armed. My question is does anyone know how difficult it would be to remove the bills and replace them with pikes? 

Probaby a silly question, but would the mercenary pikemen or levy spearmen (WOR07 and WOR8) be more appropriate ti use?

I think you have a fair point there, especially as there are figures in padded jacks in both those codes. An alternative, if you will pardon my heresy, would be to move up to 10mm and use Pendraken's dedicated Flodden range, which is how I approached it.

Ha,ha,ha! Thought, this is going to take yonks to paint, so I have bought the Peter Dennis pre-painted 2D WoFun Flodden Armies.

Ah,  I was thinking of doing the same with WSS while I wait for my tin men to arrive.
