How do you give that "bend" shape to the flags, so they don't look too stiff? Thanks.

Put white glue on them (just a lil dab), put them on the flagpole, then bend them before the glue sets.

I do this also, and use a cocktail stick to bend the flag around to shape it. I find it best to do them in a batch, stick them together around a wire or pin, once you have done 3 or 4, go back to the first and shape it by curving around the cocktail stick. This gives it a bit of time to stick together but means it's still pliable before completely drying.
