Crusader Archers Poses

I am getting ready to start painting my archers, but I'd like to clear up a question I had before I do.

Set EMN05 - Norman Archers

There are two poses, one is obviously drawing a bow. I have no idea what the other guy is doing. Can someone clear this up for me?

I 'think' he is holding his bow in his left hand, while drawing an arrow from his quiver with his right.
