TOPIC: Free Altar of Freedom Campaign |
Standard User Posts: 8 6mmACW 6th Apr 2016 04:02:05 Altar of Freedom just released a completely free ACW campaign for Vicksburg in May 1863. It includes everything needed to play--rules, maps, tokens, cards, etc. There's also a nifty AAR on the site featuring the awesome Baccus ACW miniatures! http://www.6mmacw.com/ |

There doesn't seem to be a download link connected the the campaign |
Standard User Posts: 8 6mmACW 6th Apr 2016 05:22:03 Hi Fenton--If you go to the site page for Gibraltar of the West, there's a PDF file link. You can also click on the big image of the cover image and it links to the PDF, too. Alternatively, you can click on the "Free Downloads" tab and find it there. |

I have just downloaded this campaign, the map and the turn cards. It is beautifully and very thoughtfully produced. It is in the style of the original rules, which are still needed to fight the actual battles, but comes with OOBs and unit labels for the troops involved. It also has done away with the buff coloured pages, which greatly saves on printer ink. Highly recommended. A little goes a long way |
