TOPIC: Bruderkrieg 1866 supplement |
I have looked back over all the Polemos rules thread titles over the past 6 years and nobody seems to have raised the point that Bruderkrieg only seems to exist as a cover page. The content of Bruderkrieg (based on FPW CdB) is in fact a duplicate of Deutcherkrieg (based on FPW KdA). Even the two scenarios are exactly the same, i.e the battle of Problus. I double checked this and also did a comparison with the two sets of FPW rules. The lower level rules give artillery ranges up to 10BW and differentiate between the various guns of both sides. The higher level rules give only two ranges - 6BW and 4BW. This is the same for both sets of the 1866 rules, and both sets refer back to FPW KdA. My question is: was there ever a set of Bruderkrieg rules based on FPW CdA, which are sitting forlornly somewhere in Baccus HQ wondering why they were never made available? On a triple check, it would appear that there are no movement distances given in the 1866 supplement, so I assume these will be the same as those in the main FPW rules. A little goes a long way |

Thanks Peter; a Nachod scenario would be great. A little goes a long way |
