Hi all,

I seem to recall a few years back, there was some talk about a pending set of Polemos rules for the SYW.  Did anything ever come of that?  Anything in the works?

Good question there, I've been building up a Prussian and Austrian army waiting for the Polemos SYW rules to come out and there's been nothing.  Do we have a potential date at all for this?

I think Honours of War got there fastest with the mostest. Best SYW rules I've ever played and that includes Black Powder, Maurice, Minden Rose, Konigs Krieg and Age of Reason.

DP - I have to ask why you think they're the best for the period?  I have them, have read them, and they seem okay, but nothing leaps out as innovative or effective - or at least, more than other options.  What am I missing?

Having seen the draft Polemos rules I thought they were innovative and better than anything else in the market for those of us concernd with the high command and control of an army, rather then whether or not the 2nd btn rolled for brokend ramrods misfires

Apologes for any silences on this (and other threads on the forum).  I've been hard at work casting rather then posting...

The SYW rules are still work in progress in terms of layout and editing.  It's a matter of me throwing some time at them next year.  They are definitely the next in line for publication.
