Order update, TTT, new releases and the Golden Ticket. (Phew!)

3rd Jun 2024

Hi there, it’s Monday, so it must be time for me to do the Friday post that didn’t quite make it last week.  Apologies for the break in communications.  Unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, unavoidable thingamabobs and all that…mumble, mumble…

Lots to get through, including some new releases, so let’s get through the housekeeping first with last week’s magic number, currently standing at #28920.  So, moving on…

Firstly, the response to our Teeny Tiny Terrain releases a couple of weeks ago has been amazing.   Many thanks for all the positive feedback and responses.   The concept really does have struck a chord with many of you.   We are already working on the second set of releases in the range and are aiming to release these at the Joy of Six in July.   For those of you not up to speed on the TTT project, check out our video here.

And…. it’s back to our WW2 releases, this week with some infill on German Artillery.   We’ll start with a diminutive 7.5cm Pak97/38 – sort of Franckensteinian combination of French, German and Swiss bits to make useful and ubiquitous AT gun.

Contrasting with this the next item is a SdKfz7 with a Kommandogerät 40.   A lovely little model to grace any tabletop.

Next comes a wee bit of a novelty in the form of a Fahrgestell IV-c.  Granted that not many were made, but who can resist a spectacular  mobile 88?

?

Finally, a more pedestrian, but very useful model in the form of a cargo version of the SdKFz7 half track with a deployed tilt.

We are lining lots more WW2 models up for future release, especially those for North Africa which I know are being eagerly awaited by lots of you out there.  Once again, we are aiming to have lots to show you at the Joy of Six.

Finally, for today the draw for the May Golden Ticket winner has been made, and the lucky winner will shortly be receiving their ticket through the post.   We will be revealing the winner in due course.  In the meantime, if you want to be in this month’s draw, it’s very easy to enter.   Just place an order on the Baccus site with a value over £60 and you are in.   There you go.  Simple as that.
