Peter's back!
Hello All,
Back to what passes for normal today at Baccus HQ. Lindy has grudgingly conceded the weekly update to me and my first task will be announcing that Our Dear Leader’s sale will be ending tonight at 9.00pm good old UK time.
My next job is the regular one of giving out this week’s order number which stands at #33033. We have not got as many orders out as we would have liked this week, but we will be making up for this next week.
So…what is happening at Baccus?
First, the boring stuff. We have temporarily turned off the direct card payment button on the Baccus shopping cart. Apparently there are technical reasons, and it was explained to me in a conversation that sounded a bit like this; ‘The QMG45F has interfered with the smooth operation of the ABS and the d-7853XV capacitator, causing disruption in the immediate Finance Space Continuum resulting in the need to shut down and reverse the system polarity with a phased array of Jelly Babies.’ I am sure a more techy person than me can shed more light.
PLEASE NOTE: Card payments can still be accepted, you just click on the PayPal option, and it will allow you to pay by card even if you do not have a PayPal account.
And with that out of the way, the next boring bit is to remind one and all that the Partizan show will be held in a couple of weeks’ time, to get those orders for collection into us nice and promptly. You can do this through the Baccus shopping cart, or by that old-fashioned method of phoning us or emailing a list through.
Saving the best until last, work is well underway on our next set of new releases. These will be Ancient Assyrians. Always a favorite of those of you with a penchant for playing Jenga with pyramids of severed heads along with some recreational impaling. Release is scheduled for November, but I am painting up some of the figures ahead of release, so here for your delectation is a unit of Assyrian unarmoured infantry equipped with the impressive reed ‘tower’ shields.

The rest of the range has been sculpted and is in the process of being turned into production moulds. More updates will follow.
