What inevitably cannot survive contact with reality?

Yes, the best laid plans.   Our plan for this week was to continue our assault on the order backlog and bring the waiting time on orders down to a few days rather than a few weeks.   It was a good plan.  Sadly, there were other forces at work.  Monday night saw us making a nocturnal visit to Sheffield Children's Hospital as our son was having breathing difficulties.   He was admitted and at the time of writing is still there, although we are hoping that he will be discharged in the next couple of days.

As Lindy and I are the team that run Baccus this has naturally had a big knock-on effect with the business, as at least one of us has been with him round the clock.   While we have been able to get a decent number of orders cast, we have not been able to invoice and process them, and as a result, there is no magic number this week.  

On behalf of both of us, we can only apologise, but we hope that you understand.   Our plan is to get stuck into the pile of cast orders first thing next week and pick up on the original strategy, but should this not be the cast, we will let you know once we have a better idea.
