Notice: Due to issues with the processing of VAT on deliveries to the EU a limit has been put in place, restricting orders to a maximum of £135. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

We are getting there...

12th Feb 2021

...honest we are!   This week's magic number is 15401.   Some of you with order numbers prior to this will actually be going out next week due to our internal quarantine system.  Don't panic - you have not been forgotten or overlooked.

We are on course to reopen in a couple of week's time, which is great news all round.   When we do reopen, we will have the dreaded £50 limit on orders in place.  Given that we've had lots of emails about the exact meaning of that restriction, here are the basic rules:

  • The £50 limit is exclusive of VAT and p&p.
  • The £50 limit is on cast items (metal figures and models).  It does not apply to scenics, flags, rules, CDs and bases.  If you want these in addtion to metal, but that would take you over the limit, contact us and we will make arrangements to add these to your order.
  • We will not add 'just one extra' pack to any order.  I know it sounds harsh, but we do it for one, and we end up doing it for all, and I have bitter experience of exactly how some people interpret adding, 'a small top-up to my order'...
  • Please don't send multiple orders under £50.   For a start, it negates the reason why we are doing this, and it is also unfair to others.  Any multiples will be batched together and placed at the back of what is likely to be a long and constantly growing queue.
  • I know that the current limit excludes some army packs and our boxed sets.   Please be patient.  The £50 limit is a baseline and we anticipate raising this threshold as soon as is practically possible.   The next step increase will be aiming to include the boxed set price point.

The problem about dealing with wargamers is that you are all past masters at finding loopholes in any set of rules and tweaking them out of recognition.  Please stick to the spirit of the rules and play the game, not the grammar!

On a nicer note here's a pretty piccy of some of our new Pony Wars figures taken using the original (15mm) Pony Wars game layout.
