Yes, it’s inevitable, those Tariffs again, but there is some news about our next releases…

…so read on.

But first, as usual, we have this week’s magic order number which stands at #32739.

So, thosee USA Tariffs.   The good news is that the Baccus shopping cart has been updated to include charge for the import tariffs so beloved of the US Government.   If you are from the US, when you complete your order, you will now have an entry under ‘VAT’ representing the Tariff charge.   Our arrangements with our carriers are now in place, so things should work reasonably well from now on.  And yes, ‘should’ is doing a LOT of heavy lifting, but we are happy that we have got arrangements sorted at this end to the best of our ability.

Let’s have something more positive.  New stuff coming down the line.   The Swiss Pikemen for the Italian Wars are sculpted and are currently undergoing a series of head swaps to provide that lack of uniformity so beloved of aficionados of the era.   Once these are completed, it’s straight on to getting some arquebusiers on the desk.

Stepping backwards a couple of millennia, all of the basic models for our new Assyrian range are complete and we are in the process of getting the masters cast and the patterns assembled for production of master moulds.  

We are hoping for both to be available by the end of October, if not sooner.   We have more stuff planned beyond them, but more of that later.

We are preparing for the Colours show in Newbury next Saturday.   We can accept emailed orders for collection until Wednesday morning – we are leaving for the show on Friday, so anything arriving after that may not make the cut.

For those who are coming we will have our spectacular 6mm battle of Lens near the stand, so if you fancy commanding an army of a couple of thousand figures for 30 minutes or so, then come along and have a go.
