Some new releases and looking ahead

Featured Game for JOS16: Megalomania on the Elbe

Another preview of a game that will be staged at the Joy of Six 2016. This time it's an epic Napoleonic presentation. Over to Trev Crook of MADgamers to put you in the picture...
Seems to me that all good ideas happens on the way back from somewhere. The rush and adrenaline of what ever you went there for has gone, you can relax on the way home, and tomorrow's problems aren't real until tomorrow. That gives the mind time to wander in a careless 'what if' world.
Sorry, but we'll not be at Phalanx
Many apologies, but once again we've had to pull out of a show. For various reasons, most of them involving that 'Real Life' thingy, we can't make it to the forthcoming Phalanx show at St Helens.
I'm really gutted at this, as it's very enjoyable event and we've always had a great time there. If you have already placed an order for collection, we'll get it cast up and posted out to you.
Apologies to all concerned, including the organising club and to anyone who was coming along to engage in witty banter and small scale retail therapy. We will be back in 2017!

It's taken quite a while and has been a very frustrating journey, but today I've finally been able to cast the proof of concept piece which will usher in our 20th century vehicles.

I've just applied a quick black wash and taken a photo with my phone camera, but I think you can see the quality that we've been able to achieve. Yes, there are things wrong with the model itself, but that doesn't matter. What is important is that the process is now proven.

It all kicks off on Saturday 16th July with our World Famous Baccus Open Day. This is your chance to get a behind the scenes look at just what makes Baccus tick. Because we are limited for space we run two sessions, morning and afternoon, and we ask that you reserve your place. The tours really are great fun – here’s the experience of one man who was never quite the same again after attending one such event.

I know it's taken more time than it should, but I'm delighted to be able to announce that the bulk of the support weapons are now available for the British, US and German forces.

New WW2 releases for Salute

It's taken a bit of time, but I'm happy to be able to let you know that we'll have the second wave of WW2 releases available at Salute this coming weekend.
Salute, A poorly big toe, new WW2 releases and the best laid plans…
…will always fall foul of Fate. For some reason, best known to itself, my big toe decided to contract a nasty infection last Monday. By Thursday the pain had kept me off work for two day and it had developed a wonderful range of hues and was very badly swollen. All of this of course, just one week before the biggest show of the wargames year.
