I am a painter rather than a wargamer and am looking forward to receiving the Marlborough armies I have just ordered and getting them painted, there is something rather special about the smaller scales that I think the larger scales just cannot match aesthically on the table top, units can actually look like units. :) I have been painting for about 30 years now (and that doesn't include my painting of Airfix 1/72nd as a youngster). Hopefully I will be able to put up some pics in the next week or two. Thinking of tackling the AWI and ACW after Marlborough. Then from there who knows? :P Anyway, from a cold, but not too cold Cumbria (for this time of year) just thought I would put my head above the parapet. Bill

Aw come on you can include the years of painting your Airfix figures (don't you love the half painted look of those figures as they lost their paint, rather quickly under gaming conditions from memory!). I look forward to seeing your pictures! Cheers!
