This week, it’s all about Salute

5th Apr 2024

Just one week to go before the second biggest date in the Wargaming World.  (The MOST important date is, obviously, the Joy of Six on July 14th).  Yes, it’s the immovable object that is Salute at the Excel centre.    Our stand is prosaically labelled as TB09.   If you can’t find us immediately, get yourself to the Warlord Games stand and turn right – we’ll be there.

We will be introducing three new sets of figures at the show, with general release coming the week after.   Although we will take what we can, numbers of all the new codes will be limited.  If you are attending and you would like to ensure that you pick up some of the new goodies, they will all be listed below.   They won’t feature on the shopping cart, so you will have to email admin@baccus6mm.com or phone your order to us.  (+441142724491).

So…here’s what is coming;

Working chronologically, we will have the Ancient middle eastern nomads.   A constant opponent to generations of Mesopotamian city dwellers, they are a useful catch-all opponent for various more civilised folks.

AMN01 - Guti Arab Javelins                                                          £4.00

AMN02 - Guti Arab Javelinmen, shield                                     £4.00

AMN03 - Martu/Amorite Javelinmen                                       £8.00

AMN04 - Martu/Amorite Archers                                              £4.00

AMN05 - Midianite/Amalekite Camel Raiders                       £9.25

AMN06 - Midianite/Amalekite Camel Scouts                       £9.25

And to round this off, we’ve put the whole thing together in an army pack for £83.00

Skipping forward through the centuries, the Ottoman Turkish army of early eighteenth century finally gets its famous cavalry.

OTT15 - Sipahi Cavalry, Charging                                                £9.25

OTT16 - Sipahi Cavalry, Stood                                                   £9.25

OTT17 - Armoured Cavalry                                                           £9.25

OTT18 - Tartar Cavalry                                                                    £9.25

OTT19 - Ottoman Generals                                                           £9.25

All of which has enabled us to put together an Ottoman army pack which comes in at £49.50.

Our tour of history finishes in the mid-twentieth century as we open up a new front in our Second World War range.   I am delighted to be able to list the first codes in our North African range in the form of 8th Army infantry and support weapons:

WWB41 - 8th Army infantry advancing                                   £8.00

WWB42 - 8th Army infantry firing                                             £8.00

WWB44 - 8th Army LMGs and crew                                          £3.33

WWB45 - 8th Army 2” mortar and crew                                  £3.33

WWB46- 8th Army anti-tank rifle and crew                           £3.33

WWB47 - 8th Army 3” mortar and crew                                  £3.33

WWB48 - 8th Army MMG and crew                                          £3.33

WWB49 – Combat Engineers                                                       £3.33

Remember that this is the last show that you can get your hands on these goodies at these current prices ahead of the increase coming in next month.

If you are going to get a Salute order in, you have until Tuesday evening.  After that we really cannot guarantee getting it cast and ready in time.
