News - 19 March - "This week's update" Colin the Wargamer 19th Mar 2021 07:11:59 Dear Pete & the crew. Thanks for the update - looks like I'm less than 10 away from dispatch of my order. Good news... I guess I'll need to think if there is anything more I need (OK, want). Cheers Colin |
Standard User Posts: 13 mjy0628 20th Mar 2021 02:55:05 Thanks for the update. Was momentarily confused as my order number was like 80 lower than what you noted then checked my email and saw my first order was shipped! Already placed my next order. Looking forward to getting them and starting on my ACW set. |
Good news for me too - the first part of my Pony Wars project is on the way. A little goes a long way |

Standard User Posts: 4 Random3D 21st Mar 2021 08:32:19 I'm 15628, so hopefully on its way to me soon - this will complete my (Napoleonic) allied forces. Just need to work out what French I need, for my next order. I wrote it all down somewhere, a couple of weeks ago.... <starts throwing bits of paper here and there>... Ah well, back to the Order of Battle and cross checking, again... |
Standard User Posts: 13 mjy0628 22nd Mar 2021 02:41:35 Ludicrus did you order an army starter pack of some kind? Mine was and it seemed to ship later than expected based on what Peter noted. Just curious if those will type of order will take longer (my second order was the confederate army starter pack) |
Standard User Posts: 5 Ludicrus 22nd Mar 2021 12:08:02 mjy0628 - yes, a Prussian FPW starter pack. I was going to order the French starter pack as well as soon as the first order shipped, but will have to re-think that if orders for starter packs are taking longer to process.

Administrator Posts: 897 peter 22nd Mar 2021 12:22:48 There is no preference given to army packs vs single code packs - it is done, as far as we are able, in order of receipt. The complication is that we have casters working in shifts and each has an allocated pile of orders. They work at different speeds and at different times and we leave a 'decontamination' period from the orders being cast to them being passed on to the packers. All of this leaves the reporting of where we actually are a little bit tricky - the best I can do is an indication of progress. I have plans. I am dangerous when I have plans... |
Standard User Posts: 13 mjy0628 22nd Mar 2021 01:17:24 sorry wasn't trying to imply preference but figured they might take longer to fulfill as they offer more metal for your money :) |
