Standard User Posts: 21 DBS 10th Apr 2021 07:02:26 APE 9 - Chaldean archers - from the Achaemenid range might also be worth considering if you want to represent irregular Arab forces, eg Nabatean tribal elements; I suspect Nabatean regulars might be more hellenised in appearance and thus best represented by the Successor range. |
Standard User Posts: 185 David Kay 11th Apr 2021 12:32:03 I would agree that Nabatean regulars can probably be represented by careful selection amongst the Sucessor (or even early Roman range), but the impression I have is that the Arabs of this period and this part of the region were still mostly kilt and cloak style in clothing. I'm considering using some of the Moorish infantry or possibly some figures from the Biblical ranges for most of my Nabataean army (but I will probably change my mind before I get to start it......) |
