Notoriusly difficult to make close up pics! But I do my best... See as an oposite to Peter's tesis what you can do with standard 60x30 bases (as per many rules including POLEMOS and Altar of Freedom) to add variety to your Armies. I guess the pics speak for themselves.
By the late end of the war there were Brigades that "looked" like Regiments (because of the few numbers of men available)... mainly in the CSA... but not exclusively!... And I am talking wargames... one of the things I love of the ACW is the no need to form square and the linear tactics (among other things of course!). |

Some people who are pressed for table space are using 30mm x 30mm. Then if practical they use two of them together to form a 60mm x 30mm base. Your idea gives them another alternative and looks good! Bravo! |
