Just bought some 6mm AWI and rules. All set for a wooded conflict, although I still have a lot of ECW to paint..and Vietnam war 3mm...I am also keen to get some Boer War 6mm. Until my AWI arrive, I will stick with my ACW skirmish plans. Happy 2024!

If I can get a reasonable number of the three thusand or so Romans and auxitilaries painted I will be buying moroe of the same to ad to the Legion project, plus many sets of pack mules and some carts.

I need a few bits and pieces to finally finish a couple of projects.

Then I realised that no project is ever finished - an army troop mix needs adjusting, someone's brought out some new figures, that lot would look better re-based........

Project creep in every direction.

Pony Wars - more Indians and a couple of the "funnies".

Ancients - it'll be Sumerians, the early arabs and Assyrians as they come out, more successors, (and even some more Romans if I can bear it).

Plus I keep thinking about Ottoman Turks and the promised Landsknechts...
