Administrator Posts: 895 peter 19th Jan 2016 03:27:57 Bradley, look at unit size and basing this way: If you want to use a unit consisting of 3 x 40mm frontage bases, then the 12 strips of close order infantry gives you 3 bases each holding 4 strips. If you want to use a unit consisting of 2 x 60mm frontage bases then the 12 strips of close order infantry gives you 2 bases each holding 6 strips. The frontage for both remains the same, and HC can be played with either.

Standard User Posts: 3 MartinWJ 25th Jun 2021 01:06:04 Sorry if I am asking something which has already been said in this conversation, but if you - as stated above - use two 6x3 bases pr. unit, how many models would you then suggest to put on each base? I for instance need to represent c. 100 heavy infantry on the table - how many units would you make them into? I am trying to break down two late medieval armies into units at the moment and i am really struggling with this, because I am new to both Hail Caesar and 6mm gaming.
