Does anyone know what I should use for Latin and/or Alae Peltasts in the Punic Wars?

AGR09 - Greek Peltasts? (are the shields correct?)

or is it more Spanish Caetratii (ASP02) or Celtic Javelinmen (ACE03) I should use?

I'm goign to use ACE03 Celtic Javelinmen for Ligurians, and AGR09 for Alae Peltasts myself.

The one I was wondering about was Libyan spearmen (the ones with the kind of braided Mohawks). I'm probably going to go with straight ACA02 African Infantry, though they're a bit more formed and armoured than I'd like.

lol, excellent! I don;t have the Alps supplement (yet), so I don't know what other troops are needed there. Are there any other types other than the ones I listed above?

Oscan Light Inf - AIT01

Latin Spears - AIT02

Campanian Alae - AIT01

Carthiginian

Cretan Archers  - AGR04

Gallic Warriors  - ACE07

Gallic Horse - ACE02

Iberian Horse - ASP05

They all sound like good proxies to me. Are the Campanians light troops? If not, I'd go with AIT02 for them too, I think.

...and that's my order placed for everything I'll need for Trebia. :D

It only took a little persuading my wife that a load of Punic Wars figures was what I wanted for christmas too.

I guess next year I'l have to work on what other figures I'll need for the other scenarios. :)

The Campanian Alae are classed as Hand Weapon in AoH, hence choosing AIT01, but close formed (18 models per base in 3 ranks of 6)
