hello here's a Christmas update on my french army (I've had a lot of projects that delayed my imperial army, but it's almost finished).

3 regiments of hussards
3 regiments of Cuirassiers

3 regiments of dragons

More and more grenadiers (because we can never have enough grenadiers "16 battalions")

Awesome!

today an update from my French great army : 

the chasseur and dragoon regiments have been completed. All that remains is to paint the Polish lancers and the horse grenadiers of the guard.

so far I've painted

84 infantry battalions with 36 figures : 3024 figures

54 cavalry squadrons of 12 figures : 648 figures 

Amazed!

here's what I painted this morning :
my french guard lancers regiment. (3 hours of painting)

This evening I have just finished my French cavalry with the grenadiers a cheval.
 

That's an impressively large army - approximately 50% of the total number of all the 6mms I've painted over the past 15 years.

Are we going to see some shots of them in action?

Today and tomorrow I plan to paint the artillery and officers.

I still have the bases to do. You'll probably be able to see them in action this summer. 

On the paint side, I can paint an average of 96 cavalrymen per day or 144 infantrymen per day. ^^ 


 

That would take me two months to paint! Do you have another secret life that doesn't involve painting?
