Whirlwind

I tried your method and it didn't work for me. I noticed that the URL for your image above contains extra charactors in the address that didn't come from from Postimages website.

Your url from above:  https://i.postimg.cc/5N1s1nr3/IMG-3001.jpg

The url of the picture I tried to post: https://postimg.cc/bSjMH1vY

When I manually add the missing charactors (i. and IMG-3001.jpg,) my picture will post.

So what are the specific steps you are using. The Baccus image button above offers multiple options, as does the Postimages offers multiple types of links. Merely pasting the Postimages URL doesn't appear to work.

Thank you for your assitance.

Okay, try selecting the second option down, 'Direct link'

or, click the image (it will become bigger at this point), then right mouse or touchpad button, then select 'Copy Image Link'. That has all the details you need to paste into the URL box when you click the 'Image' box when trying to post here.

Naah, your alright. Me and computers just don't get along too well and at 72 I'm just not bothered with the extra stress.

Okay, using the direct link from Postimages worked. What is interesting is that I  previously tried the direct link before I asked my question and it didn't work. This time I saw that the direct link had the i. included in the url address.

Thank you.

no worries Jeff, glad to be of assistance. And apologies to Dour Puritan that I don't think there is a super easy hack. Although if you are posting on Facebook, then maybe Copy Image Link on the photo in Facebook would work in the URL box (I don't know, I am not on Facebook).

Looks great. Where do you get your buildings from? They're fantastic.

If you are asking me, the building are from Total Battles Miniatures' 6mm range. I purchase them painted, which is pricy but my days of detailed painiting are long past. I really like the buildings and other accessories I have purchased from the company.

My figures are painted by Greg, who has done excellent work. I currently have more figures and buildings on order to expand my forces and scenario options.
