The ‘We aren’t at Salute, so here is a sale to compensate but it’s a week late’, announcement!

I suppose that the title sort of destroys the sense of suspense, so let’s get straight in with this week’s magic number which stands at #34310.  But you really don’t want to know that, you need to know more about our unexpected show of generosity.

The truth is that Peter completely lost the plot last year and cocked up the booking for a trade stand at this year’s Salute.  We know from the emails and calls that a lot of you missed our presence at this prestigious event, including a couple who hadn’t heard the news that we weren’t there and spent the day in a forlorn Baccus hunt.  Sorry guys…

Yes, another Joy of Six update.

This week we are talking about the Joy of Six 2026, but first, this week’s order number which currently stands at #34255.

We’ve just updated the games list for JOS26 and it’s filling out very nicely.  We have got 22 games booked with a very diverse range of subjects, periods and scale of actions, all in glorious 3D technicoloured 6mm.

This week, I have mostly been painting Swiss...and Lindy says there's only three days left.

Hi All, welcome to the Baccus weekly update.  Following on from Lindy’s last message I am typing this on my phone huddled up to the casting machine to  which she has ever so kindly chained me.   Enough of this maudlin rubbish – here is this week’s order number, #34232.

Keeping Peter from under my feet Sale!

Hi there, Lindy the Boss Person here. While doing the invoicing I’ve noted that we’ve caught up massively on the order backlog.  Peter has just told me in that smug way of his that we should have caught up pretty much completely by then end of next week and he could therefore relax a little bit.

Magic number and what would you like to see?

This week I am throwing a question or two out there regarding this year’s Joy of Six show, but firstly the magic number which stands at #34200.   We are actually making really good progress on orders and if all goes well, the end of next week should see us bang up to date.

Lindy and I were chatting about this year’s show, and it’s fairly obvious that she regards me as slacking on the day as she ‘suggested’ that I should do some hands-on workshops.  You know, demonstrate painting or basing techniques and just show people how to tackle things that they find hard.

Yes, everyone's favourite show is now just three months away, and it is shaping up very nicely.   We have lots of games booked in covering a wide range of periods and genres, as well as a growing list of traders all hoping to make your retail experience a happy one.

Swiss Army knives and swords and pikes and arqubuses

It’s time for the Baccus weekly update.   No magic number with this post, as Lindy is still working on finalising it, but she has promised to make it available tomorrow while I am at Hammerhead with the Baccus trade stand.

We are heading towards our next set of new releases for 2026, but first we have the boring routine of the Baccus Magic number, which stands at #34088.  We are making real progress on catching up from what was a hefty backlog at the start of the year, and waiting time for orders should be drastically reduced further in the next couple of weeks.
