First off, some bad news. Due to personal circumstances Baccus will not have a stand at Recon in Pudsey this coming Saturday. I am really sorry about this. If you have a pre-order I will be visiting the show, so please contact me to sort out collection arrangements. If you were hoping to bring a shopping list to the show, again, please contact me and I'll see if I can bring something with me for you.

It’s yet another one of those bitter sweet news releases where I am really very happy to be able to announce the release of a new range, but at the same time have to say good bye to some very old friends.
Yes, after much delay and many missed deadlines, the new War of Spanish Succession figures are finally available.
This initial batch of releases covers all the main troop types, Foot

New WSS coming soon!

Baccus not at Crisis 2015
I am very sorry, but for personal reasons, I will not be attending Crisis with the Baccus trade stand this year. I know it's short notice, but I've been holding off on the decision up the last practical moment.
All of you who have paid for orders for collection will have them sent out with free postage. If any of you reading this have placed orders for payment at the show, please contact me at admin@baccus6mm.com and once again your order will get to you with free postage.

What happens when the Bugs bite back
Many of you who attend UK wargames shows will have met my partner, Lindy. Last Sunday night, she was rushed into hospital suffering from what turned out to be a nasty attack from these little chappies:

Not so quiet on the Western Front
After a period of calm and tranquility it's time to stir things up with a shedload of new releases for the Baccus Great War range!

Partizan, Colours and some newcomers...
I'll start this little update by marking the end of an era, as I have just attended the last ever Partizan to be held at Kelham Hall. Yes, it really has been that quiet over the last couple of weeks with not a great deal to report on. Given that the questions have been coming in to me, here's where we are with new releases.
The most obvious thing to say is that the WW2 range has not appeared. This is because the masters came out of the mould in a poor state to the point that we've had to go back to the beginning and start again. This has been a minor disaster for us as that's a big investment in time and money gone down the drain, but we'd rather do that then offer poor quality figures. This means that the first releases have been pushed back to October.
On a much more positive note there will soon be lots of new goodies appearing in the Great War ranges, as the later French will be arriving shortly along with mortars of all shapes and sizes for all nationalities and some really BIG guns.
Also making good progress although not for immediate release are the replacements for the elderly Spanish Succession figures. You'll see much more on this in the coming weeks, but here's a taster in the form of a base of the new Horse, which are painted up (inevitably) as the Regt de Berry...

Joy of Six 2015 - The Report
In break with tradition, the morning of JOS15 started off cold, wet and gloomy. However, that didn’t seem to put people off as there was soon a steady stream of traders and gamers threading through Sheffield’s deadly one-way system and turning up outside Sheffield Hallam University and unloading their vehicles.
